I never posted in this livejournal in like... years. Wow. But just now I "wrote a poem" in Japanese for the first time, and I felt it was worth recording. I think the grammar is probably not correct somewhere, but it's the though that counts, right? "Learning outside the box" and all that. So here's my poem. It's an "inspired translation" of a quote I read online, "Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later."

My poetic Japanese version: いつもいつもがんばってね今の植え付けておく物はいつかなんとか刈り入れられるので

I just want to mention that I'm ecstatically happy that this manga which I have been wanting to buy forever, which I found out a couple of months ago will be released 7/25/2011, just now (7/21/2011) uploaded the front cover image on amazon JP!

Can people who have 0 journal entries and no personal information attached to their account stop adding me without even a message to tell me who they are and how they found me?! I don't know you and it's really not cool at all.

AFTER A MONTH AND A HALF OF WAITING, I BRING YOU . . . CHERRY BERRY BUNNY!!!
Sorry the picture quality sucks so much, I only have the camera in my cellphone to use. My last digicam was (somewhat) really expensive and it got stolen and since then I haven't gotten around to replacing it.

Shirring stretched to the max just to fit it on my dressmaker's doll! This is reaaally small! It's not a 'plus size' mannequin or anything, it's quite petite. The dress is very very small.

In this picture I'm trying to show that the inside is fully like in some soft satiny fabric and has a built in petti like metamorphose usually uses.

I COULD NOT get the zipper up!!! Those tiny books of the dressmaker's doll were TOO MUCH for CBB!~

AP's lace is amazing. It's SO FRICKING DETAILED and 1000% customized with strawberries, bunnies, heart-shaped holes and "AP" embroidery. It's soooooo beautiful.

Here is a recipe I made today. I was nervous about it because I got it from the internet and modified it a bit to use what we have and what I wanted to eat lol. Pictures are included! ** Please see my "NOTES" at the bottom to see what substitutions I made.**

10:37 am - QCute Shopping Service Review
I recently ordered lolita shoes from LJ User QCute.

WHAT I BOUGHT:
3 Pairs of these MIRANDA SHOES brand "An*Tai*Na Tea Party Bows Shoes - Flat Heals"

Size: M - 23.5
Color: Pink, White, Black (one each)

TIMELINE:
I placed the order in the 2nd week of January. Apparently Chinese shops close for nearly a MONTH for Chinese New Year at the end of January (or so excused the seller several times) so I did not get my shoes for about 5 weeks. This may or may not be the seller's fault.

COMMUNICATION:
The seller never emailed me (I was expecting updates when the shoes were ordered, when they were done being made, when they were shipped, etc) but did reply within 24 hours each time I emailed her.

QUALITY:
The shoes are lovely and fit nicely, but you can see defects in the workmanship if you look closely. The leather was 'hole punched' with the design of the shape of hearts and they are not 'clean', the edges don't line up or are peeling a bit. The sole on the inside looks like it was not glued down perfectly. Also the seam around the outside is not flawless. HOWEVER regardless of all these, these are hand made shoes which I got for a very cheap price and the low price more than accommodates for the imperfections.

PRICE:
I paid 170$US for these 3 pairs of shoes, including EMS Shipping from China and all shopping service / paypal fees. Compared to roughtly the same amount for ONE pair of shoes from Angelic Pretty . . . WORTH IT!~

IN CONCLUSION:
3/5 Stars: I will definitely buy from QCute again, cautiously. She has over 500 Positive Reviews. I think I just got unlucky by picking a busy and inconvenient time to order.
